After completing his MBA from NYU, Rajiv first delved into a banking career before starting his first restaurant with his wife, Payal, 10 year s ago. Rajiv comes from a family which owned and operated restaurants for the last 50 years, so the restaurant business comes naturally to him. Payal Sharma has successfully operated their restaurant in Huntington for the last 10 years. Together, Payal and Rajiv are opening their third restaurant in Manhattan on Madison Avenue.
At the Maine Maid Inn, Payal and Rajiv plan on contemporizing the menu to reflect today’s trends, serving New American cuisine. Their great passion for quality food and hospitable service is reflected in their restaurants and catering facilities.
