We wanted to let you know what a memorable evening we had at the Maine Maid Inn. Meeting and speaking with you made it even more so. It sure brought back memories. I don't think the evening would have been so special if you hadn't overseen our time there and to be honest, we were a bit disappointed with the staff at first but then everything turned around.
We were married here 23 years ago and never returned until we had business on LI. After reading the reviews we expected to be disappointed. Quite the contrary, the food and individual treatment from the new owner was exceptional and made for a memorable evening. The mussels were delicious and almost a meal in themselves. We both had the special, rack of lamb, which was done to perfection. Hats off to the chef, Keith, for a meal we'll always remember. Prices were reasonable, low for NY prices. I highly recommend the Inn and under new ownership the inn is a "real find.".

She sat us away from a large party where we could enjoy an initmate evening out and the food was tremendous. Question: We arrived Saturday evening without reservations. Kathleen Sabella, sat us at a table near the fireplace~our favorite ambiance.
The food: Herb-Crusted Salmon was excellent! (Compliments to the Chef). Dark-chocolate covered strawberries, and the creme brulet: out-of-this world.

Had dinner on March 5th for the first time. We had a party of 10 friends and the service and food were excellent. We reserved a table upstairs; Kathy checked in on us the entire evening. There was not one complaint at the table about food/service. Ten out of ten is a pretty good rating!! Being a first time customer I was impressed and my family will have Easter dinner next week. Looking forward to the Maine Maid Inn again. Thanks...

My husband and I just threw our daughter Lia a first birthday party this past weekend. The food was fabulous, the staff was helpful and prompt to fill any request we had. The Tiffany room really lent itself to our low key birthday brunch and there was plenty of room for our guests to mingle and the kids to play and be entertained. I look forward to visiting again and have already reccomended the Inn to some of our friends. Lastly, the planning stages were made so stress free and easy for us by Laurie, the Sales Manager, who has such a delightful way about her and truly accomodated any request we had. My mother passed away last month and instead of a wake, we opted to do a memorial reception. In keeping with the kind of woman she was, we needed it to be warm and welcoming...elegant but unpretentious...dignified but easy and light-hearted. As soon as we walked into the Maine Maid Inn and Grace showed us around, my brother and I knew the setting was perfect. I will admit to being nervous about the event. My mom was a very special person and we needed her tribute to be special as well. I needn't have worried. Kathy Sabella went out of her way to make sure that everything went smoothly. The food was very good and the staff was warm and courteous to our guests. The entire evening went beautifully and my brother and I were satisfied that our mother had a fitting tribute.
